Love Opens the Door.. to Breaking the walls put up by Fear's Will for Destruction

This is a quick post so everyone can comment and put down the amazing ideas mentioned on the show personally, so we can all discuss them.

The discussion was about Love and its ability to open the door to understanding others and really get to appreciate why people are the way they are. This way, even if someone is agressive, or actually harmful to others, we can understand that they are not essentially bad, but just trying to defend themselves, because the person might be afraid of others due to previous experience which causes the person to feel the need to put down other people before the other people have the chance to put them down. This is true even if the person being victimised has never met the aggresive person in their lives, just the fact that the aggresive person has learned from experience to deal aggresively with people as a form of self-defence will mean that anyone he or she comes accross in the future may be dealt with in the same way.

By understanding what has caused the "result" - the "aggresive person" - we can understand that before the cause (the negative experience) takes place, perhaps very early on in life, the person had the chance to turn into a nice and pleasant person. Recognising this gives us the opportunity to give such a person a second chance, by seeking out the pleasant and kind person buried deeply inside him or her.

Love lets us understand the real person inside, the person who really has a justified constructive contribution to make to society, but is unable to express it because of negative experience.
